Terms of service
1. The service
Vivian Dahl ("Vivian", "we", "us") provides private driving and itinerary planning services for the Napa and Sonoma wine country. A "tour" begins at the booked pickup time and ends at the booked drop-off. Time over the booked duration is billed at the per-hour rate quoted in your booking confirmation.
2. Booking & payment
A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm a tour. The deposit is 33% of the quoted price unless otherwise stated. The balance is due at the start of the tour day, payable to Vivian by cash, Venmo, Zelle, or major credit card.
3. Cancellation
72 hours or more before pickup: full refund of deposit, or full credit toward a future booking.
24–72 hours before pickup: deposit held as credit toward a future booking within 12 months.
Less than 24 hours before pickup: deposit is non-refundable.
Weather, mechanical, or force-majeure cancellations initiated by Vivian result in a full refund or credit at your choice.
4. Conduct
Vivian reserves the right to end a tour without refund if guest behavior threatens the safety of the vehicle, the wineries, or other patrons. This is a Vivian-and-her-friends business, not a party bus.
5. Alcohol
Vivian does not consume alcohol during tours. Guests are welcome to taste at wineries within reason; Vivian reserves the right to decline further winery visits if she believes a guest is over-served.
6. Liability
Vivian carries commercial liability and passenger insurance on the vehicle. We are not responsible for winery-side issues (refused entry, sold-out tastings, etc.) but will do our best to reroute in real time.
